3 Easy Ways of Start Anything

Have you ever had to start something and didn’t know where to begin? So you put it off. You keep telling yourself "I’ll do it later or tomorrow". As you know, later never arrives and tomorrow never comes. So what can you do when you find yourself stuck in this place? 

That's right, I’m talking about what keeps you from moving forward. What's been keeping you stuck in the same spot, knowing how miserable it feels? FEAR! And the definition of fear according to the Merriam Webster Collegiate dictionary is: an unpleasant, often strong, emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger.

Everyone of you who’s reading this knows exactly what I’m talking about. That feeling of dread that comes into the pit of your stomach. That feeling makes some people eat a lot and some people starve themselves, while others might drink or smoke. It just depends on what your vice is. And if you live on this planet, you’ve probably got a vice. 

So what can you do right now?

1. You can take a deep breath and slowly inhale and exhale from your belly.

2. Acknowledge that you do feel afraid, or are unsure of what it is you’re feeling.

3. March your butt to whatever it is you need to do and just get started now.

You can start anywhere you like, in the middle, in the end or in the beginning. The key is to get started, even if it’s something as small as getting out of your pajamas, making your bed and putting on fresh clothes.
